Ghanaian rapper Medikal has refuted rumors of a rivalry in the music industry, making it clear that he has no issues with fellow artist Stonebwoy.
In an interview on Starr Showbiz with Feeling Daddy, Medikal addressed speculation about tensions between the two, asserting that their relationship is amicable. “We are cool. Yeah, we are cool. I don’t have problems with Stonebwoy at all,” he said.
Medikal pointed out that much of the perceived rivalry is fueled by fan-driven narratives, which often exaggerate tensions. “Sometimes the fans do that as well. But you see, it’s entertainment,” he explained.
Commenting on a viral moment between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, he praised the display of unity between the two, saying, “If they are to meet at an event under the same roof, and then there’s a hug, it’s beautiful. Who doesn’t like to see love?”
Medikal emphasized that artists are primarily focused on their own personal goals. “Stonebwoy has his goals, Shatta has his goals, I have my goals.”
