The A.M.E. Zion Church, through its Zion Youth Ministry Evangelism Ministry in the Accra West Kasoa District, is set to host a major community event dubbed “District Fun Games and Evangelism.” The event aims to bring together members of the church and the public for a day of spiritual outreach, unity, and exciting recreational activities.
Scheduled for March 6th, 2026, the event will take place at the Unistar Stadium, Ofaakor, starting promptly at 9:00 AM. The program seeks to promote fellowship, encourage youth participation, and create a platform for evangelism through sports and fun-filled activities.
The event will bring together participants from different churches, all ready to take part in a variety of thrilling activities. Youth leaders are particularly excited about the opportunity to foster a strong sense of unity and faith while engaging in friendly competition that promotes teamwork and spiritual growth.
The initiative is being spearheaded by key district leaders, including District Youth Coordinator Saviour Lumor, District Evangelism Coordinator Frank Alipui, and Local Youth Coordinator Hendrix Darko, who have all expressed their commitment to making the event impactful and memorable.
In an interaction with the district coordinator, organizers promised an exciting day full of fun, engaging activities, and spiritual inspiration, urging people of all ages to be present and participate fully in the program.
The event will also receive strong media support from LOCO TV and Ideal 97.9 FM, who have pledged to grace the occasion with top-notch personalities.
These include Spydakovic, the Ideal Power Sports host and DJ; Paakhwesi Faith, a producer and sports analyst; and Bohyeba, CEO of LOCO TV and designer as well as social media manager for Ideal. Their presence is expected to add excitement and energy to the event while enhancing media engagement.
The “District Fun Games and Evangelism” is expected to attract a large gathering, offering participants both entertainment and spiritual growth while strengthening community bonds and advancing the church’s evangelistic mission.
