Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kurt Okraku, has announced a landmark GHC2 million cash prize for the champions of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The announcement was made during the 31st GFA Ordinary Congress held on Tuesday, August 12, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
In a major boost for domestic football, Okraku outlined a comprehensive prize structure for the top fifteen teams based on their final positions in the league. The initiative is expected to enhance competition and provide strong financial incentives for clubs.
