Only Chelsea, according to MAURICIO POCHETTINO, can put an end to the “stupid rumors” regarding his future as manager.

In his quest to turn his squad into a reliable force in the Premier League, their head coach is refusing to see any news as good news.

Mauricio Pochettino has not put an end to speculation that he would leave Chelsea.

With Thursday’s 2-0 victory over Tottenham, Chelsea has moved up to eighth place in the standings, reigniting dreams of playing in Europe again the following year.

However, following a turbulent season, there are still doubts over whether Pochettino will be able to guide them.

“I suppose that because I have one more year left on my contract, I will be here,” he remarked. But enough of the baseless gossip.

“Instead of writing things that don’t make sense, you should ask the club if they want me to continue or not.

“My contract here is for one more year, so if nothing comes up, I guess I’m staying here. Only when the season is over and I hear “ciao” from someone. Right now, we are unsure.

Pochettino can advance in his quest for a Europa League spot if he defeats West Ham on Sunday at home.

With only a few weeks remaining in the season, David Moyes’ contract is up, leaving the Hammers in a precarious situation.

Due to their severe injury list, Chelsea was forced to start four rookies on the bench against Spurs, according to manager Fernando Pochettino.

When he meets with chairman Todd Boehly in the summer to discuss his situation, he believes he has done enough to stay in the role.

“It is like proving that we deserve to be here next season after all these circumstances and all of this situation,” Pochettino remarked.

“Who will evaluate me?” I have to evaluate all of the players, myself, and the situation as a whole. However, I wanted to express that enough of these rumors.

In order to help the team against the Irons, defender Levi Colwill and striker Christopher Nkunku may make their injury comebacks.

Chelsea can’t afford any more mistakes as they have two games remaining after tomorrow to regain entry into Europe following a 12-month hiatus.

“It is not about quality because when you are at Chelsea, you assume you have the quality,” stated Pochettino. The fact that you are an employee of the team is paramount.

Play to the best of your ability. It is preferable that we play someone who is lower in quality, possibly younger, but who is competing at their absolute best, if you don’t compete or if your level is only 50%.

“It happened during the season that we might not have had enough players performing at their highest level to compete and earn the outcomes we deserved.

Because we now have to maintain the same mindset, these are the riskiest games. West Ham has had an incredible season and is a formidable club with excellent physicality.

“They have been competing well in Europe and for us, we need to recover and maybe add some fresh legs to our squad because West Ham have had a whole week to prepare – that is why these are the most dangerous games.”
