After a disastrous return to the Cameroon team, ANDRE ONANA is thinking about his future on the international scene.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper for Manchester United struggled to decide whether to play in this month’s African Cup of Nations or stay with his new team.

 

Andre Onana is reportedly thinking about giving up international football once more.

 

However, he only played in one of their four games prior to their devastating loss to Nigeria in the round of sixteen this past weekend; Fabrice Ondo, the goaltender for Nimes, who is his cousin, was preferred instead.

And he has already made his way back to the North West to be ready for the trip to Wolves tomorrow night, where he will consider his choices over the next several weeks.

When Onana moved from Inter to United in the summer for £47 million, he told United that he was retiring from international football.

At the 2022 World Cup, he had initially announced his retirement from international competition due to an altercation with coach Rigobert Song and president Samuel Eto’o.

 

He was, nevertheless, convinced to return for an important AFCON qualifier in the fall.
