ROMA manager Jose Mourinho was sent out for the second time in FOUR DAYS following a fiery derby against Lazio, which included another three red cards.
After falling to their opponents 1-0 at the Olimpico in the Coppa Italia quarterfinals, Mourinho’s team was eliminated.

Mattia Zaccagni’s goal in the 51st minute, which came about as a result of a contentious VAR review that resulted in a penalty kick, gave Maurizio Sarri’s team a ticket to the semi-finals.
When Lazio’s former Chelsea player Pedro got into a fight with his former Roma teammate Gianluca Mancini in the sixth minute of stoppage time, tensions increased and Pedro was given a second yellow card.
After Nicolo Rovella was roughed up, Sardar Azmoun was lost by the Giallorossi in just four minutes.
Mancini was the last player to receive a red card for disobedience, but it happened after the final siren.
In addition to his busy schedule on the field, referee Daniele Orsato also had to manage the benches.
And as a result, Mourinho received yet another red card. He was incensed with VAR and the choice to give Lazio a penalty kick.
This follows the former manager of Chelsea, Tottenham, and Manchester United’s dismissal against Atalanta on Sunday.
More than any other player, that was his fifth Serie A goal in the previous two seasons.
As the Biancocelesti pushed for the ball inside the area, it appeared as though Dean Huijsen of Roma nipped Valentin Castellanos’s heel, earning the Biancocelesti a penalty.
“It’s a modern football penalty, the sort that wouldn’t have been given before VAR,” Mourinho said to Mediaset following the game.
“The referee didn’t give it when he was three metres away but with VAR he then gives it.”
The Portuguese strategist has not yet reached an agreement on a new contract, and his current one with Roma expires in June.
