In response to his son Jamie’s recent remarks, Harry Redknapp has criticized Harry Maguire’s treatment.

After a spell out of the starting lineup, Maguire has rejoined Manchester United.

Harry Redknapp has expressed disapproval of Harry Maguire’s treatment.

Maguire has been subjected to a great deal of vitriol since being benched by Manchester United.

Tuesday night, the Red Devils defeated Copenhagen 1-0, with the game’s lone goal coming from the England international.

And he contributed to Man Utd’s gradual turnaround from their miserable start to the season by playing the entire 90 minutes in each of their past two Premier League games against Brentford and Sheffield United.

Due to his influence, Redknapp, the former manager of Portsmouth, has praised him and taken aim at his detractors in recent months.

“Harry has had so much stick over the last couple of years, and a lot of it has been completely rubbish,” he stated in an interview with BetVictor.

“He has fallen from favor, but he has persevered and bided his time till his chance came. He was excellent at Bramall Lane, and perhaps the young kid can continue to improve from there.

Due to his turbulent season, Maguire has received a lot of criticism from experts, fans, and social media users.

However, Redknapp is not the only one rooting for the 30-year-old; Jamie, his son, is also speaking out in favor of the center back when it comes to his future at Old Trafford.

He asked, “Do I think long-term that he’ll be the answer for them?” in an interview with Sky Sports. Actually, I don’t think so; although he’s played well lately, I believe he’ll need to find another opportunity.

“But he doesn’t deserve the amount of hate he gets, I think it’s been massively below the belt and disgraceful at times.”

When Manchester United take on their most difficult test of the Premier League season thus far on Sunday, it remains to be known if Erik ten Hag will continue with his winning combination of Maguire at the back.

The Red Devils play Manchester’s highly anticipated derby against Man City, their loud neighbors, for bragging rights.

Jamie Redknapp has also jumped to Maguire’s defense.

On Tuesday, Man Utd defeated FC Copenhagen 1-0 in the Champions League, with the England player scoring the game’s only goal.
