David De Gea has hinted again that he might pull off an incredible comeback to Manchester United.

Since leaving Old Trafford at the end of the previous season, the Spaniard has been without a club.

In light of a possible return to Manchester United, David de Gea has hinted on social media.

The goalie shared this photo on social media with the words “feeling good.”

reported in an exclusive that the Red Devils were thinking about trying to re-sign their former stopper.

This is a result of Andre Onana, who was signed in the summer, playing in the African Cup of Nations in January.

Now, 32-year-old De Gea has made yet another signal that a move might be imminent.

He shared a photo of a ball, football boots, and a pair of goalkeeping gloves on his Instagram story.

“Feeling good” was the caption, two words that went with the photo.

Following the posting of a contemplative emoji on X, the platform that was formerly known as Twitter, this is De Gea’s second social media hint.

Since departing from Manchester United, the goalie has been working out alone.

Despite having won two League Cups, a Europa League, and a Premier League, he has been unable to secure a new team.

Clubs in Saudi Arabia and Europe did express interest in De Gea, but no trade came through.

But now that Onana is gone, he might find himself back at United because of the team’s concerns over depth.

Should his country advance far in the AFCON, the Cameroonian goalkeeper might miss as many as eight games between January 13 and February 11.

Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton would be the Red Devils’ remaining goalkeeping options during this time.

In the summer, Bayindir completed a £4.3 million move from Fenerbache to Old Trafford as well.
