1D1F: Communication Officer exhorts to be exigency in the 1D1F’s purpose to boost economic growth- Mr. Dongi Gabriel

The communication officer of the New Patriotic Party for the Banda constituency, Mr. Dongi Gabriel says government’s industrialization agenda under the One District One Factory (1D1F) is one of the best initiative implemented in the country.

According to him, the initiative was aimed at transforming the economic prospects of the country, and abates economic crisis and unemployment.

He explained that the 1D1F as one of the flagship programs by the Akufo-Addo administration championed to produce from the country, use and add value to the raw materials to help boost the economy.

In his statement on ‘Ghana Maakye’ with Appiah Kubi on Nyamekye radio, the communication officer projected that the government saw deficiency in terms of industrialization, hence the effort to introduce such a policy.

“We produce the raw materials here in the country but are exported to the Western world, every country’s development sometimes depends on its industrial base, when we add value to what we produce it will help and abate unemployment”, Mr. Dongi bemoaned.
