The University of Ghana, Legon has celebrated Afronita and her dance partner for their remarkable feat at the just-ended Britain’s Got Talen.
In a post on social media, the University acknowledged Afronita and her partner for putting Ghana on the map.
The University’s post read “Congratulations, Danita Akosua Adomah Yeboah (Afronitaaa), level 300 Banking and Finance student, University of Ghana Business School.
You and your dance partner Abigail Dromo, have achieved a remarkable feat by placing third in the 2024 Britain’s Got Talent show.
Ayeekoo!”
Afronita and Abigail finished third in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent.
The duo were competing for the life-changing £250,000 cash prize and a spot on the bill of the Royal Variety Performance.
However, they were unable to win the ultimate even though they earned the love of the audience and the judges.
On the night, singer Sydnie was adjudged the winner of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent.
Speaking after the event, Afronita indicated that they were grateful for the platform to showcase their talent.
She was thankful for the support from her country and Ghanaians in the diaspora.
The Television show is judged by Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli While it is jointly hosted by the duo Ant and Dec.
