The Premier League’s top five most irresponsible players to date have been identified.
Despite getting red against Chelsea this week, Tottenham’s hotshot Destiny Udogie does not seize the top spot.
.The Italian left-back was fortunate to escape being sent out for a two-footed lunge at Raheem Sterling early in Spurs’ 4-1 loss.
Udogie received only a yellow card and avoided a VAR check.
However, he was later given another booking for a crude challenge on Sterling, which led to his first-ever red card in the Premier League.
According to calculations made by experts at BettingOdds.com, Udogie has been the second most irresponsible player in the top flight thus far this season.
.Udogie created a points-based system and, with one red card, three yellows, and 22 fouls, scored a whopping 33.
Five points are awarded for each red, two for each yellow, and one for each foul.
However, Alexis Mac Allister of Liverpool, who leads the pack with 36 points, edged out Udogie for the top spot.
This season, the Argentina World Cup winner was also dismissed.
.Additionally, he has two more yellow cards than Udogie.
But even with one less foul, Mac Allister leads the Italian by a full three points.
Third position goes to Lucas Paqueta of West Ham, who has obviously given up on his smooth Samba skills in favor of the dark arts.
Amazing Nakamba, who moved Luton Town out of the relegation zone with his strength, is ranked fourth.
And with his tenacious performances, Conor Gallagher is demonstrating why Mauricio Pochettino thinks highly of him by finishing fifth.
.All players needed to have appeared in at least 10 Premier League games this season in order to be included on the list.
Consequently, a list of the top five least careless players has also been compiled.
Christian Eriksen of Manchester United, Micky van de Ven of Tottenham, and Oleksandr Zinchenko of Arsenal all exhibit a strong sense of fair play.
And Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa, who ranks second on the list with just two fouls, seems to solely care about goals.
.However, Anthony Elanga, a winger for Nottingham Forest, has shown the least amount of recklessness this season.
He tops the spotless list with just one point, having received no red cards, no bookings, and only one foul.
