According to reports, a loaded tanker fell while ascending the Asankran-Saa town near Asankrangwa in the Amenfi West Municipal.
The incident occurred as the tanker was heading towards Kwabeng Petrosol filling station. Despite the potential danger, some of the local residents rushed to collect fuel from the overturned tanker. The Ghana National Fire Service and Police Service were quickly informed and they dispersed the crowd.
They then began the process of offloading the fuel into another truck to prevent any unfortunate incidents. Augustine Appiah, the Assistance Station Officer and Crew Leader for GNSF, explained the details of the incident to ROYAL FM’s OSOFO Kwabena Anane.
