Ghanaian singer and Police officer, Sa-ada Muhammed known in showbiz circles as Hajia Police has spoken about the wearing of anklets by some females.
“To me wearing an anklet is not my way though I like it because it’s nice but that’s not my way of dressing and it depends on the individual,” she disclosed in an interview with Amansan Krakye.
She said, “If you think it’s nice for you then you can go ahead and wear it but one thing is that some people wear anklets and nothing is covering their legs up to their thighs”.
According to Hajia Police who is a staunch Muslim, the wearing of anklets has become a problem due to the indecent exposure of the body and promiscuous lifestyle of some women who do so.
She continued on Showbiz on Property “That is the biggest problem because you’ll see the person wearing the anklet has dressed so indecent with a short skirt and that’s where I think it’s not good at all.
“Such skimpy dressing takes the beauty of wearing the anklet away and it portrays the person as someone coming from a different world,” Hajia Police said as MyNewsGh.com sighted.
“So those who are even decent who decide to wear anklet is perceived to be a sexually immoral or promiscuous person but if you dress well and put on the anklet I think it’s okay,” she concluded on Property Radio in Cape Coast.
