Shatta Wale, a dancehall artist, is troubled by the state of Ghana’s creative industry. He expressed frustration once more about the prevalence of gossip instead of focusing on the hard work needed to elevate the country’s reputation.
Using Nigeria’s entertainment industry as a positive example, Shatta Wale urged Ghanaians to prioritize substantial issues and move away from gossip. He believes that excessive focus on gossip and negativity that could undermine creative efforts should be left behind.
“Nigerian music is gaining global business and fame, while Ghanaian music is caught up in gossip and beef… The most foolish career path in Ghana #Villagers and Entertainment,” Shatta Wale remarked in a social media post.
Recently, Shatta Wale has been in headlines due to allegations from a content creator named Chopenson, who claims the artist used his services for multiple videos without compensating him.
