Semenyo Wins February Premier League Player of the Month
Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for February after a series of outstanding performances in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old forward, who joined Manchester City from AFC Bournemouth during the January 2026 transfer window, has made an immediate impact at the Etihad Stadium.
Since arriving at Manchester City, Semenyo has scored 7 goals in 14 appearances across all competitions, quickly establishing himself as an important figure in Pep Guardiola’s attack.
His excellent form in February where he scored three goals and provided one assist in five league matches earned him the Premier League’s top individual monthly honour.
Semenyo’s pace, strength and direct attacking style have added a new dimension to City’s frontline, with the Ghanaian forward continuing to impress both fans and pundits since his high-profile move to the club.
The award marks a significant milestone in his career and further highlights his rapid rise from the English lower leagues to becoming one of the standout performers in the Premier League.
For Ghanaian football fans, the recognition brings pride as one of the Black Stars’ key attackers continues to shine on one of football’s biggest stages.
