As they prepare to take Dani Carvajal’s place, REAL MADRID has their sights set on Reece James of Chelsea.

The LaLiga powerhouses have been keeping an eye on the Blues captain for a while now.

Reece James is a desired signing for Real Madrid.

A suitable Dani Carvajal substitute is thought to be Chelsea’s right-back.

James’s success at the Bernabeu is something Los Blancos are hoping he can duplicate from fellow Englishman Jude Bellingham.

The massive Spanish team is expected to take Carvajal’s place at right back.

With 386 appearances in 10 years for the La Liga team, the 31-year-old has been outstanding.

Despite being a great addition to Real Madrid, having helped them win three La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey titles, and five Champions Leagues, his best years are now behind him.

James has impressed everyone at the Bernabeu, particularly manager Carlo Ancelotti, according to Mundo Deportivo.

However, the right-back hasn’t stated that he plans to leave West London.

Furthermore, James’ long-term Stamford Bridge contract does not end until 2028.

The main man for Chelsea will not be cheap for the Spanish team.

James leaving could be shocking, but it isn’t out of the question given that the Blues intend to let go of a number of players in the summer in order to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

The 2019 Blues senior debutante, a product of Chelsea’s academy, has now made over 150 appearances for the West London team.

Even though James has been injured recently, losing him would be devastating for Mauricio Pochettino’s team, who hasn’t had the finest start to the Premier League this year.
