The vice-presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, is set to commence a two-day campaign tour of the Upper West Region on Tuesday, November 21, 2024.
This visit forms part of her broader campaign efforts across northern Ghana to bolster support for the NDC’s presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, and the party’s parliamentary aspirants ahead of the December 7, 2024, general elections.
During her tour, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will engage with voters in key constituencies, including Wa Central, Lambussie, Nandom, Lawra, and Sissala. She is expected to share the NDC’s campaign messages, emphasizing policies aimed at national transformation and regional development.
Her campaign in the Upper West Region will conclude on Wednesday, after which she will proceed to the Northern Region on Thursday for another leg of her tour.
In the preceding week, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang visited the North East and Savannah Regions, where she urged voters to support Mr. Mahama. She highlighted his commitment to addressing challenges attributed to the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration, improving education, creating jobs, and empowering women financially.
As election day draws closer, the NDC remains focused on reaching voters across the nation with its message of hope and change.
