Outgoing Dormaa Central MCE extends heartfelt greetings and appreciation to his constituents

The outgoing Dormaa Central Municipal Chief Executive, Honorable Drissa Outtara, has conveyed his profound gratitude and year-end greetings to the people of Dormaa Central Municipality for their warm welcome and support in his role as Municipal Chief Executive over the past eight years.

He extended his congratulations to John Dramani Mahama and Honorable John Kwame Adu Jack, the Dormaa Central MP-Elect, for their significant efforts that led to their victory.

 

He also expressed his appreciation to the Paramount Chief of the Dormaa Traditional Council, Osagyefo Oseadeayo Dr. Agyemang Badu II, the queen mother and elders, the residents of Dormaa, the NPP Constituency executives, and all stakeholders for granting him the opportunity to serve.

He valued the support and constructive criticism that have helped shape him into one of the finest MCEs in the Municipality.

 

Honorable Drissa Outtara underscored that the tenure of the NPP formally concludes on January 7th, following the inauguration of President-elect John Dramani Mahama. Consequently, he will continue to serve as the MCE until January 7th.

He reaffirmed his dedication to advancing the development of the Dormaa Central Constituency, stressing that all initiatives under the secondary city projects will proceed uninterrupted, as there is an approved budget allocated for their completion, barring any variations. He mentioned that the Tuesday market’s multi-story building is nearing completion and can be transferred to the assembly when required.

Honorable Drissa Outtara remarked that the advancement and development of Dormaa Ahenkro benefit all, and thus he fervently hopes the forthcoming MCE receives the necessary support from the pertinent authorities to successfully contribute to the prosperity of the Dormaa Central Constituency.

He highlighted the significance of mentorship in politics and emphasized the importance for the incoming MCE to cultivate relationships with prominent figures in the forthcoming NDC administration to enhance his lobbying acumen, thereby securing more developmental projects for the Constituency. He reflected on the pivotal role played by Honorable Francis Asenso Boakye, the Bantama MP, as his mentor, in achieving notable successes for Dormaa during his eight-year tenure as MCE.
