Dear President John Dramani Mahama,
I hope this message finds you well, as I write to show my appreciation and commend you for honoring your campaign promise. This is because the Minister of Education, together with the Students Loan Trust Fund, yesterday, June 2nd, 2026, reimbursed our first-year No-Fees-Stress funds to us.
The timing at which the reimbursement was made has influenced me to write this letter to you. The timing was so good that at UG, for instance, next semester’s course registration will begin on June 5th, 2026, and if a student has not paid their fees, they will not be allowed to register for their courses.
The on-time reimbursement will therefore help myself and more students to be able to pay for their remaining school fees and register their next semester courses on the aforementioned date in order to partake fully in the semester lectures.
This faithful gesture underscores the importance of being faithful, honest, and loyal to the very people that gave you the mandate to lead them.
It is of no surprise that you themed your arrival as “Return to Legacy”.
Mr. President, myself and all first-year students say ‘Ayekoo’ and we will continuously throw our ultimate support to your leadership and Ghana as well.
Thank you, Mr. President John Dramani Mahama, and your able hardworking Minister for making this initiative a dream come true.
Long live Ghana, long live President John Dramani Mahama.
Yours faithfully,
Adjei Samuel Oko
First-Year Student UG.
