NCPCC Inaugurated to Promote Domestic Consumption of Ghanaian Cocoa
A new committee has been established in Ghana to increase the consumption of cocoa and chocolate products within the country. The National Committee for the Promotion of Cocoa Consumption (NCPCC), comprising of nine members, has been tasked with spearheading efforts to cultivate a society that recognizes and appreciates the nutritional benefits of Ghana’s cocoa.
The Chief Executive of COCOBOD, Hon Joseph Boahen Aidoo, inaugurated the team and urged them to focus on promoting the value and importance of Ghanaian cocoa while encouraging the constant demand for its products. This initiative is expected to boost the domestic consumption of cocoa and support the growth of Ghana’s cocoa industry.
