The Central East Regional Police Commander, DCOP Francis Nchor, has called on Ghanaians to make sanitation a daily habit rather than waiting for government-led exercises before cleaning their surroundings.

He made the call during the first day of the National Sanitation Exercise held in Kasoa, aimed at promoting environmental cleanliness and improving sanitation across the country.

Addressing participants, DCOP Francis Nchor urged residents and business owners to take responsibility for keeping their frontages clean, noting that regular sanitation can help prevent flooding, protect public health, and create a healthier environment.

“Do not wait for another directive before you clean your frontage. Make it a habit,” he advised.

He commended residents, security personnel, and other stakeholders who took part in the exercise and urged the public to maintain the momentum by making environmental cleanliness part of their daily routine.
