Nana Akomea, former Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has revealed that the party has not yet fully recovered from the shock of the 2024 elections. He admitted that the loss is still fresh in their minds, but remains confident that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s policies during the campaign were some of the best he has seen.
Akomea expressed regret, saying, “It’s still early, and we haven’t fully recovered. My regret is that I still believe Dr. Bawumia’s proposed policies were among the best.”
When asked why Ghanaians did not embrace these policies, he explained, “The party has set up a committee of experts to scientifically investigate the main reasons behind our loss.”
