Actress Priscilla Opoku Agyemang, popularly known as Ahuofe Patri has noted that it was her late mother’s wish to see her grandchild before joining the ancestors one day but her wish never came to pass.
Ahuofe Patri who happens to be the only child of the mother never gave birth before the mother died on January 30, 2023.
According to the actress, she wished she had a child before her mother’s demise since that was one of the things she yearned for when she was alive.
The late Madam Barbara Opoku-Addo was laid to rest on March 4, 2023, in Accra but it seems the daughter cannot still forget about the adorable mother who nurtured her as a single mother throughout her lifetime.
“Maybe, I should have also given birth early just like my mum did if I considered the fact that I was the only child and now she is gone. If I knew she was not going to live for long, I would have done that,” she said in an interview with Graphic Showbiz.
“My mum gave birth to me at an early age so it was quite difficult for people to know she was my mother. I related to my mother like a big sis and we did everything together. I shared with her my problems and she also told me everything I needed to know”.
“We shared a strong bond and the love that existed between us was so deep”.
“I am never going to find another mother who cared so much for me because she was everything to me,” she noted.
