Media personality Mr Carter has shared his views on the ongoing discussions surrounding the Torcher Experience Concert, stating that no single musician has exclusive rights to host events in the Volta Region.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz with host Kwame Dadzie, he noted that he has noticed several conversations comparing artistes and their concerts in the region. However, he believes such comparisons are unnecessary at this time.

“I’ve seen many conversations around it, but I don’t want to delve into them because this is not the moment for comparisons,” he said.
According to him, every musician has the right to organise shows anywhere in the country, including the Volta Region.

Mr. Carter acknowledged that Stonebwoy has successfully held concerts in the area, but stressed that this does not prevent other artistes from doing the same.

“I don’t believe the Volta Region belongs to Stonebwoy. Any artiste can go there and organise a concert. He has hosted his shows there, and others can also do theirs. It’s as simple as that,” he explained.

He further encouraged stakeholders in the music industry to concentrate more on organising impactful events, building collaborations, and growing the industry instead of focusing on comparisons among artistes.

The concert was part of activities under the Torcher Experience initiative, an event designed not only to entertain fans but also to motivate young people to pursue their talents and ambitions.

The night stood out not only for the performances but also for Stonebwoy’s symbolic traditional entrance, which reflected his strong pride in Ghanaian culture.
