Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus has hailed the current season as his best since joining the Dutch giants in 2021.
The Ghanaian international has been injury-free and has been in prolific form, helping his side stay in contention for the domestic double.
“I think compared to previous seasons this has been my best, but I’m not where I want to be yet,” Kudus said in an interview with Ajax TV. “The goal is to win the cup and the league, and until I achieve that, I haven’t done anything yet. So, there is more coming, more work to be done.”
Kudus, who has scored 17 goals and provided four assists in all competitions this season, has attracted interest from several top clubs in Europe. However, the 21-year-old is focused on helping Ajax win trophies.
“The goal is to win the cup and the league, and until I achieve that, I haven’t done anything yet. So, there is more coming, more work to be done.”
“I’m happy with how things have gone for me individually, but I know that the most important thing is what we achieve as a team. Winning the league and the cup would be the perfect end to the season for us, and that’s what we’re working towards,” he added.
The 22-year-old recently picked up goal of the month award.
