Gospel musician Diana Asamoah expresses desire to be running mate for NPP presidential hopefuls
Ghanaian gospel musician and politician, Diana Asamoah, has expressed her interest in becoming a running mate for any of the presidential hopefuls of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who emerges victorious at the upcoming congress of the party.
Speaking on the UTV weekend entertainment show, Diana stated that she has been a long-time follower of the NPP and believes she deserves to be the first female Vice President of the Republic of Ghana should the party retain power in the 2024 elections.
When asked about her preferred candidate for the presidential nomination, she declined to give a definite answer and instead emphasized her desire to become a running mate, regardless of who wins the nomination.
Diana also outlined her agenda for enforcing biblical knowledge and moral discipline among the youth and the Ghanaian population if she were to be selected as a running mate.
Her comments were light-hearted but full of wisdom, and she took the opportunity to commend the NPP for its introduction of the free senior high school program under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
