Hopeson Adorye granted bail

Leading member of the Movement for Change, Hopeson Adorye has been granted bail by the Dansoman Circuit Court.

TV3 reports that Hopeson will report to the Police station every Monday to assist the Police with its investigation.

Hopeson Adorye was arrested on May 22, 2024 to assist the Police in an investigation into claims that the New Patriotic Party detonated dynamites in the Volta Region to scare voters during 2016 voting.

Adorye who made this known in an interview on Accra-based Accra FM indicated that he led the charge in ensuring that the votes of the NDC reduced drastically in 2016.

Earlier, Alan Kyerematen who leads the Movement for Change together with some leading members including Yaw Buaben Asamoa, Ken kuranchie were at the Police station to visit him before he was whisked away to court.
