Hon Joana Gyan Cudjoe Joins Food and Agriculture Committee Meeting in Parliament Today

Hon Joana Gyan Cudjoe, Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, participated in the Food and Agriculture Committee meeting at Parliament House today, Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

The Committee convened to deliberate on key issues affecting Ghana’s agricultural sector, including food security, farmer support programmes, and the implementation of policies under the Ministry of Food and Agriculture. Hon Cudjoe, who serves on the Committee, contributed to discussions aimed at strengthening transparency and accountability in agricultural initiatives.

The meeting also touched on ongoing efforts to attract youth into farming through technology and innovation, a priority area for stakeholders in the sector.

Members stressed that effective oversight and auditing remain critical to ensuring agricultural policies deliver results for farming communities nationwide.
