The Volta region is buzz with excitement following the current visit of the former Vice President and aspiring flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who outlined numerous developmental initiatives he intends bringing into the party.
In a welcome speech, the first vice chairman of the party in the constituency, hon Bismak Elorm Akuamoah noted that the Ho central constituency is united solidly behind Dr Bawumia and will show him love in the upcoming election.
“His excellency, the people of Ho central constituency wants me to tell you that we’re united solidly behind you and we will show you love because you’re the most marketable candidate that has the potential to win the general election in 2028”.
He described the former Vice President as the most impactful Vice President Ghana has ever had.
“His excellency, beyond your marketability, you’re the most impactful Vice President Ghana has ever had. There are so many things we can attribute to your Vice presidency and today we can’t hear anything from the current government “.
He concluded that the outcome of their research in the constituency to figure out the reasons the party didn’t win the 2024 election did not in anyway reveal that’s it’s because of the former Vice President, Dr Bawumia.
He assured victory for Dr Bawumia and the NPP in the 2028 general elections.
