Political Science Lecturer Urges Ghana to Show Political Will in Fighting Corruption

Dr Amakye Boateng, a Political Science lecturer at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has emphasized the need for Ghana to display political will in the fight against corruption. Speaking on Akoma FM’s political show, GhanAkoma, Dr Boateng stated that without political will and commitment, Ghana cannot effectively tackle corruption in the country.

According to Dr Boateng, Ghana ought to set an example for other West African countries to follow, but unfortunately, the country lacks the determination to do so. He noted that Ghana is deeply divided by various factors such as tribe, religion, and region, making it challenging to achieve unity in the fight against corruption.

Dr Boateng called on Ghanaians to support the fight against corruption and work towards achieving a corruption-free society
