Black Stars defender Alidu Seidu has began rehabilitation ahead of his injury comeback.

Clermont Foot’s right-back, Seidu, had been out for almost a month due to a knee injury, which has ruled him out of Ghana’s upcoming game against Angola.

Nevertheless, his recovery is excellent news for Clermont Foot as they aim to end the season on a high note. Seidu was seen jogging lightly with the team’s physio on Wednesday, and is expected to resume full training after the international break.

This season, he has been a crucial player for Clermont Foot, with 20 Ligue 1 appearances prior to his injury. Seidu was also a member of Ghana’s squad at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where he played in two matches before their group stage exit.
