The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has announced a temporary partial closure of the road in front of the Terminal 2 departure hall to facilitate ongoing construction and refurbishment works.

According to a public notice, the affected section of the road will be closed starting Monday, May 11, 2026, for the safe refitting of the Terminal 2 frontage and facade. The closure is expected to last one month.

During this period, the road will be inaccessible to both vehicles and pedestrians. GACL has assured the public that measures have been put in place to minimise disruptions, including directional signage and traffic management personnel to guide commuters and maintain smooth movement around the airport.

The company apologises for any inconvenience and appeals to travellers and airport users for their cooperation while the works are ongoing.
