Tension has escalated between residents of Domeabra and Police Swat following demolishing of over 1,000 acres of land by a Company.
According to the report gathered by prosper Ewusi, the police swat fired gunshots when residents were attacking the machine and the security personnel who were supervising the demolishing exercise carried out by a company named Fredrick Kofi Asare (FK) who claimed ownership of the land.
In an interview with the company’s representative Dr.Henry Addo said the company has obtained legal backing from both supreme Court and High Court to carry out the demolishing exercise.
He has warned the residents to allow the operation to carry out and the company is ready to negotiate with anyone who is ready to negotiate.
Several structures
Meanwhile some of the affected affected victims in an interview with prosper Ewusi,said they were not aware neither informed.
Structures including hospital, houses, stores have been demolished.
The exercise has create serious tension in two communities including Domeabra and Denkyira all in GA South Municipality.
Now, police has taken over the place.
