The Tema Regional Police Command has arrested four students of Ada Senior High Technical School following the circulation of a disturbing video online, which showed a student wielding a cutlass and allegedly threatening others on campus.
In a statement released on May 22, 2026, police said the incident came to their attention around 12:10 a.m. after the video was spotted on social media. A police night patrol team was promptly dispatched to the school to intervene.
With the cooperation of school authorities, police arrested three identified students — Raymond Gyamfi, 18, Oscar Amemoair, 18, and Odartey Wilson, 18 — along with a juvenile who also appeared in the video. The suspects are currently in police custody assisting with investigations.
The Tema Regional Police Command urged students to resolve conflicts peacefully through established school channels and to refrain from violence or intimidation. Parents and school authorities were also called upon to strengthen supervision, guidance, and discipline to maintain safety and order in schools.
The Command assured the public that investigations are ongoing and that further updates will be provided in due course.
