The Minister of Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has appealed to striking university administrators to give government one month to address their concerns.

Members of the Ghana Association of University Administrators and the Technical University Senior Administrators Association of Ghana are demanding action over concerns including disparities in allowances and Market Premium payments.

The Minister said government is engaging the Ministry of Finance and requires verified information on affected workers before decisions can be made.

He appealed for patience and assured the administrators that their concerns are being considered.

The government says it remains committed to resolving issues affecting workers in the education sector while ensuring stability in tertiary institutions.
