ECG BEGINS 4-DAY POWER OUTAGE SCHEDULE FOR PARTS OF ACCRA EAST

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has commenced a four-day power outage schedule affecting parts of the Accra East Region as part of planned maintenance and improvement works on its network.

According to ECG, the exercise is aimed at undertaking critical infrastructure upgrades to improve the reliability and quality of power supply to customers within the affected areas.

The power interruptions, which began today, will affect selected communities within the Accra East operational area at scheduled periods throughout the four-day exercise.

ECG has urged residents, businesses, and other customers in the affected areas to take necessary precautions and make alternative arrangements to reduce the impact of the outages.

The power distributor has also apologised for any inconvenience caused, assuring the public that the maintenance works will help enhance service delivery and minimise future disruptions.

Customers have been encouraged to follow ECG’s official communication channels for updates on the schedule and affected locations.
