The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Suaman District of the Western North Region, Hon. Philip Kwabena Boahen has called on Ghanaian especially those in Suaman District to forgive one another as they mark this year’s Easter celebration.
Speaking with Daily Searchlight Newspaper Correspondent, Hon. Philip Kwabena Boahen urged his District to live a harmonious life with one another to reflect the sacrifice Jesus Christ made and learn how to forgive each other after Easter.
“Jesus Christ suffered a lot; they spat on him, they mocked him, they treated him like a criminal and forced him to carry a heavy cross although he had committed no crime but they crucified him” but due to our salvation.
He further explain that, as we commemorate the crucifixion of our Lord on Good Friday, may we reflect on his gift of sacrifice and embrace his enduring lesson of forgiveness
The Easter season calls forgiveness just as God forgave us our sins; the Suaman District Chief Executive (DCE) said. “Whilst we socialize, wine and dine, let’s not forget to show our gratitude to God for his faithfulness and protection over our lives. For it is said that an attitude of gratitude will determine the altitude at which you can soar”.
He therefore appeal to everybody in his district to learn what to forgive one another and move on in unity.
