Dormaa Central MP cut sod for infrastructure projects in his Constituency

Hon. John Kwame Adu Jack, Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central, has initiated the groundbreaking ceremony for the development of significant infrastructure projects in three communities within the Dormaa Central constituency.
The sod-cutting ceremonies were conducted in three distinct communities, namely Ahogono, Asikasu-Nsuhia, and Antwirifo. These events were supported by the Dormaa Central Municipal Chief Executive, party leadership, traditional authorities (Nananom), and other esteemed dignitaries to ensure their success.

The projects include the construction of a three-unit classroom block with auxiliary facilities in Ahogono, a 30-bed capacity clinic with auxiliary facilities in Antwirifo, and a 15-bed capacity clinic with auxiliary facilities in Asikasu-Nsuhia.

During the sod-cutting ceremony at Ahogono, Hon. John Kwame Adu Jack conveyed that the traditional authorities and residents of Ahogono had requested a school project during his 2016 campaign activities in the community, a promise he was unable to fulfill at the time as a result of the defeat of NDC in the general elections. He emphasized that similar requests were made during their campaign visit to the community ahead of the 2024 elections, which prompted his decision to initiate the construction of the facility to enhance education in the constituency. He stated that these projects are part of the National Democratic Congress’s Reset Agenda, aimed at ensuring that every sector of the country is well-established for the progress and development of Ghana.
Mr. Daniel Konka, the Dormaa Central Municipal Health Director, and Reverend Father Kingsley Dwamena Asante, the Dormaa Central Municipal Director of Education, both expressed their gratitude to the Member of Parliament and the NDC government for their prompt response to the requests and needs of the community.
Mr. Daniel Konka, the Health Director, noted that the Asikasu-Nsuhia Health Centre has faced numerous challenges due to limited space within the facility. Therefore, the expansion will significantly contribute to providing more spacious rooms, thereby enhancing the delivery of effective healthcare services. Meanwhile, the Education Director, Reverend Father Kingsley Dwamena Asante, emphasized the importance of teaching and learning for the progress of a nation, as education is fundamental to success.
He noted that the establishment of the school facility in Ahogono will greatly enhance educational opportunities in the community and foster a brighter future for its residents.
Hon. Yaw Nsiah, the Assembly Member for Antwirifo electoral area, expressed gratitude on behalf of his constituents to the Member of Parliament, the Municipal Chief Executive, and the leadership of the NDC. He assured that once the clinic facility is completed, it will be diligently maintained to ensure its longevity and fulfillment of its intended purposes.
He emphasized that the Member of Parliament should not be deterred by any criticisms arising from directing developmental projects to Antwirifo, his hometown, due to his nativity. He stressed the importance of ensuring that projects specifically intended for the Antwirifo community are duly allocated to them. Furthermore, he affirmed their commitment to supporting the Member of Parliament in promoting the development of all communities within the Dormaa Central constituency, while ensuring that projects designated for Antwirifo are delivered as intended, despite any criticisms from individuals.
