Chief of Wassa Abreshia in the Wassa Amenfi East Municipality in the Western Region, Nana Kweku Frimpong II has vehemently registered his displeasure over the Way and Manner Ghanhe Mining Company operating on his land refused to fulfill their social cooperate responsibility within ten years of operations.
He added, many attemps by Elders and Resident of approaching the Management of the Company to address their challenges has proven furtail.
He said, six years of his leadership as Chief of Wassa Abreshia, a complete school and ongoing Teacher’s bungalow is constructed.
Nana Kweku Frimpong ii,has issue one week ultimatum to the Ghanhe Mining Company to fulfill the promises.
In addition,the Unit Committee Chairman, Nana Kwame Amoateng, said the Ghanhe Mining Company promised to construct Health Center, Durber Center, School Block and Provision of Portable Drinking Water and Park to uplift the developmental growth of the Community in the Municipality, but failed to fulfill their promises to the Community.
