C/R: Fetteh Kakraba Omankrado Appeals for Police Patrol Vehicle to Combat Landguard Activities in Gomoa East

The Omankrado of Fetteh Kakraba, Nana Yaw Kwadromanu II, has appealed to the Government and the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) to provide a police patrol pickup vehicle for the Gomoa East District Police Command to help combat the activities of landguards in the area.
According to the chief, landguard activities remain a major challenge in Gomoa East, despite efforts to curb the menace. He said armed landguards continue to intimidate land developers with guns, cutlasses, and other offensive weapons, creating fear and insecurity.
Nana Yaw Kwadromanu II made the appeal while speaking to the media after securing victory in a land dispute at the Winneba High Court against Simon Kpote, Daniel Kpote, and the Central Regional Lands Commission.
He explained that the court affirmed the title of the Royal Essel Amoakondo Twidan Family over lands at Gomoa Fetteh Kakraba, Mamfram, Abura, Tuansa, and Nkwantanan Abakum, and granted him an order of possession.
The chief therefore called on all individuals currently occupying the affected lands to meet with him for renegotiation, stressing that the court’s ruling has confirmed his family’s ownership of the lands.
