Prior to his team’s inaugural match in the CHAN tournament against Madagascar in 2022, Black Galaxies coach Annor Walker has shared some personal details.

It is believed that the home-based national squad, which is competing in the event for the first time since 2014, would encounter a challenging test in their pursuit of the championship.

“I’m thinking about our group opponent and I have started with Madagascar, we have a plan for them before we think of the Sudan game.”

“We are happy with our stay in Egypt. I think we are comfortable with the friendly matches played so far and all that we are waiting is the thee day to play our first match in Algiers.”

On January 15, Ghana will play Madagascar, and four days later, they will play Sudan.

On January 23, they will face tournament favorites Morocco in their last Group C game.

All three contests will take place in Constantine.

The competition is slated to begin on January 13, 2023.
