A Nigerian second wife of Akufo-Addo’s Secretary, Asante Bediatuo, one Mary Femi Adetola Bediatuo and her husband have been accused of rendering Hopeson Adorye jobless.
Femi Adetola Bediatuo was the same person allegedly behind a controversial Mathematical sets contract by Bluegrass Group Limited which was exposed by MyNewsGh.com about four years ago.
This time around, former NPP man and now Movement for Change Activist Hopeson Adorye is fingering the Akyem-associate wife for partnering with her husband to take over his job at the airport.
“If anyone says I was sacked at Airport they are lying. Ask Kan Dapaah. Ask the coordinator. Someone took my job and gave it to his wife. Asante Bediatuo. He took my job and gave it to his wife who is a Nigerian!….” He said on Live TV
Mathematical Sets Controversy
The Ministry of Education on 11th October, 2019, signed a contract with Messrs Bluegrass Group Limited to supply a total number of 853,009 Kapek Scientific Mathematical Instruments prescribed by the West Africa Examination Council for Senior High Schools at a unit cost of GH₵75.

Out of the supply of over 853,009 math sets, she was able to supply only 416, 060 of the instruments to the tune of GHC31,204,500 after more than a year. And even for the consignment it came after its WASSCE supply timeline was breached.
Following a conflict with her frontman over the GHC31,204,500 for the first consignment, Mrs. Bediatuo got CEO of Blue Grass Group Kwadwo Darko Mensah arrested for refusing to release the money to her after it hit his account.
She allegedly instigated the arrest of Kwadwo Darko Mensah Onasis because of his failure to release the cash to her but an impression was created as if his arrest was because he failed to deliver the maths sets on time and in full which was not the case.
