Avoid laziness and lackadaisical attitudes towards work to enhance productivity -Public Servants advised

The Dormaa Central Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Dominic Adoma Ameyaw, has issued a stern warning to public sector employees, urging them to abandon any indications of lackadaisical or indifferent attitudes towards their professional duties.
During his visit to three churches, including the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Koraso (Amazing Grace), Church of Pentecost Central (Dormaa Ahenkro) and the Church of Pentecost, Dormaa Ahenbrono District of the James McKeon Temple all in the Dormaa Central constituency on Sunday, September 7, 2025, he emphasized the importance of employees adopting a mindset of punctuality and consistently demonstrating dedication at work to support the NDC’s RESET agenda to facilitate the progress of the country.

Pastor Emmanuel Okwan Obosu, the Head Pastor of the Church of Pentecost at Dormaa Ahenbrono District of the James McKeon Temple, urged the youth to abstain from drugs and substance abuse and to lead a better life, as they represent the future of the country. He emphasized the importance of embracing Christianity and worshiping God to gain knowledge and wisdom, noting that, according to the Bible, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
He also advised workers to avoid laziness and a lackadaisical attitude towards their work, stressing that such behavior hinders progress. Therefore, it is essential for every worker, whether in public or private service, to demonstrate hard work and dedication to foster development and progress.
