Asamoah Gyan and Kwadwo Asamoah attend CAF President’s Outstanding Achievement Award 2022 in Rwanda

Former Ghana internationals, Asamoah Gyan and Kwadwo Asamoah, were among the distinguished guests at the CAF President’s Outstanding Achievement Award 2022 held in Rwanda’s capital Kigali. The event, which took place on Tuesday night, saw the presence of global stars and football leaders, including Ivorian Didier Drogba, Brazilian legend Cafu, and Nigeria’s Ayegbeni Yakubu.

The highlight of the ceremony was the conferring of the CAF President’s Outstanding Achievement Award 2022 to President Paul Kagame of Rwanda and King Mohammed V1 of Morocco by Dr Patrice Motsepe, the President of the Confederation of African Football.

Other notable football stars in attendance included Cameroonian legend in women’s football Gaelle Enganamouit, South African record-breaking women’s footballer Portia Modise, and former English international Wes Brown. Also present were Senegal’s Khalilou Fadiga, DR Congo’s Herita Ilunga, Indomitable Lion’s Pierre Webo, former South Africa captain Lucas Radebe, and Nigeria’s Super Falcons legend Perpetua Nkwocha.

The event was graced by the presence of FIFA President Gianni Infantino, the CAF Executive Committee, and CAF Member Association Presidents.
