Elorm Ababio known popularly as Ama Governor has finally been called to the BAR.
This comes after two years of a battle between her and the General Legal Council after the council received a petition questioning her behaviour as a Law Student.
Ama Governor then denied engaging in anything which was deemed an affront to the ethics of the profession.
Even though she was asked to start the process to be called to the BAR in 2023, she was denied the opportunity by the General Legal Council over claims that she had engaged in a behaviour that was against the ethics of the Profession.
But at the mini-call held today May 31, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Center she was called among other individuals who have passed all their required examinations with the right conduct.
Accra-based Starr FM shared a video of her call. Ama Governor while being interviewed in one of the videos said she will not comment.
