The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ajumako Enyan Essiam District in the Central Region has declared his vision to transform the area into the most developed district in the region within his four-year tenure.
Hon. Andrews Kojo Duodu, DCE for Ajumako Enyan Essiam District, expressed optimism about driving massive development, fulfilling government promises made during campaigns.
“As DCE, I am doing everything possible to make Ajumako Enyan Essiam the most developed district in the Central Region and Ghana overall before my term ends,” he stated.
Speaking at the handover of two common fund projects—a school in Ajumako and another in Ajumako Mando—Hon. Duodu assured residents he won’t sit idly in office. Instead, he commits to engaging communities, identifying their needs, and addressing challenges head-on.
The DCE attributes the district’s progress under the NDC government to a community-centric approach.
In an interview with Channel 247 News’ Yaw Boagyan, he highlighted his 25 years as constituency secretary, which gives him deep insight into local issues for targeted solutions.
His team prioritizes community needs over isolated projects, yielding impressive results and positioning the district as a model of success.
He credits the NDC government’s support, collaborative stakeholders, and his extensive local knowledge.
Hon. Duodu assured more common fund projects will be handed over soon.
“Many initiatives I’ve championed are nearly ready for commissioning,” he said.
He commended MP for Ajumako Enyan Essiam Constituency and Finance Minister, Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, for his strong support, along with President John Dramani Mahama’s efforts.
Upcoming handovers include CHP compounds, school buildings, nurses’ and teachers’ bungalows, and mechanized boreholes. “Have faith in me as your DCE, your MP Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, President Mahama, and the NDC we have your interests at heart,” he urged.
“We will deliver all campaign promises and exceed them before our tenure ends.”
