The Agona West Constituency Executives of the New Patriotic Party has issued a 24hr ultimatum to the security services and President John Mahama to produced the party’s Constituency Organizer, David Essandoh following his arrest by suspected national security officers on Monday evening.
It was reported that the Agona West NPP Constituency Organizer, David Essandoh has been arrested by suspected national security operative on Monday evening following his ‘dumsor’ post on Facebook.
At a press conference today, the Chairman for NPP in Agona West Constituency Alhaji Gibrine Tanko has condermd the incident and calling on the President, MCE of Agona West, MP and Security agencies to provide the organizer within 24hrs Else face their wrath.
He said, they do not know his whereabout since his arrest.
Meanwhile, some executives of the party in Agona West have described the arrest as unacceptable and politically motivated, insisting that the Organizer only exercised his right to free speech .
They have therefore called on the security agencies to provide clear reasons for his arrest and ensure his immediate release within 24hrs.
