Agona East MP launched ƐNAPA YƐ project, donates vehicles to her constituency executives

The member of parliament for Agona East constituency in the central region, Honorable Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyer has donated a Bus and other vehicles to her constituency executives to facilitate effective movement in enhancing adequate campaign as far as the 2024 election is concerned.

The Member of Parliament made this donation as part of her birthday celebration projects.

 

The member of parliament visited the Agona Nsabaa palace with the NDC flagbearer Mr. John Dramani Mahama, Assin North MP elected Hon James Gyaakye Quayson and the constituency executives as part of her birthday celebration for fruitful discussions on the development of Agona East and its environs.

 

The team departed from the palace to Agona Nsaba Presby Park where the former president and NDC flagbearer Mr. John Dramani Mahama assisted the member of parliament to launch *ƐNAPA YƐ* package, a novel welfare package to improve the condition of NDC in the Agona East constituency and the central region at large which include the presentation of a brand new Bus and other vehicles funded by the MP to the party’s constituency and branch executives.

 

The former central regional minister and member of parliament indicated that the project is geared towards the generation of revenue for the effective running of affairs in the constituency.

The member of parliament with her team and the former president proceeded to Agona Ninta for a sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of Durbar ground for the community to promote a peaceful atmosphere during public gatherings. Honorable Pokuah Sawyer indicated that it is the first day a president and former president has visited the said community which she said will increase the votes for the NDC and JDM in the coming general election to gel the party secure a significant victory over the NPP.

 

In the sequence of the birthday celebration, the NDC central regional Chairman who is an indigene of Agona East led the team to Agona Nantifa for the inspection of the progress work an ongoing Astroturf construction where the contractor revealed that the project is 40% done and so they will work extra hard to ensure the completion of the project very soon.

 

The member of parliament finally Proceeded to Agona Kwanyako where her birthday cake was cut to ensure a successful completion of her birthday celebration and offered prayers to God for adding a year more to her years. She promised her constituents her continuous support to ensure the development of the constituency
