Tutor Donates wooden Desks to School, Pledges to Impact More Lives


The Head of the Visual Arts Department of Asanteman Senior High School in the Ashanti Region, Mrs. Elaine Attafuah, together with teachers in the department, has donated 20 wooden desks fitted with lockers to the school to help address its furniture deficit.

Speaking to the media, Mrs. Attafuah said impacting lives and contributing to the needs of society gives her great satisfaction. She noted that the donation was aimed at providing students with a conducive environment for teaching and learning.

She stressed that service to humanity is service to God, adding that making a positive impact in people’s lives brings a joy that money cannot provide expressing hope that the desks would bring relief to both students and the school.

 

Receiving the items on behalf of the school management, the Assistant Headmaster of Administration, Mr. Stephen Amofa Asare, thanked the Visual Arts Department for the gesture and appealed to corporate institutions and philanthropists to support the school with more furniture to help eliminate the deficit.
