The Vice President has engaged members of the Ghanaian community in Rwanda as part of efforts to strengthen relations with Ghanaians living outside the country.
During the interaction, the Vice President listened to concerns raised by Ghanaians in Rwanda and discussed ways government can continue to support citizens living abroad.
The meeting provided an opportunity for members of the community to share their experiences, challenges and contributions to Ghana’s development.
The Vice President commended Ghanaians abroad for their efforts in promoting the country’s image and contributing to economic growth through various initiatives.
He assured them of government’s commitment to strengthening ties with the diaspora community and creating opportunities for Ghanaians both at home and abroad.
The engagement forms part of government’s broader efforts to maintain closer relationships with Ghanaian communities across the world.
